Nashville is being blessed again by yet another amazing musical artist. Lou Reed is going to be playing at the Rhyman Auditorium this May. Lou Reed is another artist that simply does not get the respect he deserves. He has influenced music for generations and is actually going to come to Nashville!
This is a big deal too. Reed usually only performs in Europe, and the handful of selected concerts is a real treat for music lovers. Reed was the creator of the band "The Velvet Underground," a band which many say helped start rock and roll. They were truly a unique band and were pioneers for their time. Now Reed is back and will be playing all the old hits, as well as some new material. This is another one to watch; tickets aren't on sale yet, but you buy tickets as soon as possible. This will be one to tell the grandkids.
